Matric results Remarking and Rechecking schedule 2024/2025 Announced
The DBE will announce the matric results on 13 January 2025 and release them to the students on 14 January 2025. However, what if there are some mistakes in the results? How to apply for rechecking/remarking?
If you feel your marks don’t match your expectations, there are ways to get them reviewed or improved.
Remarking and Rechecking
You can apply to have your exam papers checked again for mistakes in marking or totalling.

Matric Rewrite
If you want to improve your results, you can register to rewrite your exams during the mid-year National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Deadline to Register: 7 February 2025
This option gives you another chance to improve your marks and implement things you have learned from your mistakes previously.
